As this year is coming to a close, I have been thinking back on everything that 2018 has brought along with it. Because of that, over the next week, I want to highlight a few things from this year that I have particularly enjoyed, trips that I have taken, and a few of my favorite recipes. That being said, this has been a year full of blessings and unwavering support.
Here's a quick overview of some things from 2018:
○ I decided to go back to school for my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with initial licensure to become an English teacher.
○ I was accepted into the graduate program.
○ I had the opportunity to begin working with a tutoring company as a side job while waiting to begin school. My boss then extended an offer for a part-time job while I am in school.
○ I made some great friends at my previous job who I still see from time to time.
○ My husband Josh got a promotion at his job and continues to love the work he does.
○ I went on two awesome vacations this year. The first to Seaside/Watercolor, Florida with Josh as a little spring getaway. The next was in the fall with Josh, longtime best friend Aleta, and her boyfriend Nick to Boston, Massachusetts. While we were in Boston, Josh and I saw the Red Sox vs. Yankees in a World Series playoff game (this was a big deal for us).
○ Josh and I also had the opportunity to take some weekend trips to visit family who lives out of town.
