Last month, I had the opportunity to travel to Chicago. While there, I had to stop in at the Art Institute to see some of their amazing works, including a special touring exhibit, Van Gogh's Bedrooms. This exhibit featured many of Van Gogh's paintings, including his series of the Bedroom in Arles. I wish I could have taken more photos of this portion of the museum, but it was too full to get any good shots.
The American Gothic by Grant Wood. Seeing this painting in person was surreal.
Roy Lichtenstein. I had to get a picture of me matching one of my favorite artist's pieces.
A lovely shot of the gallery of Warhols.
Greyed Rainbow by Jackson Pollock. The name of this piece alone is fantastic.
A transfixing work by Picasso.
And, last but not least, one of the best shots I got while inside of the Van Gogh exhibit.
